FILMING LOCATION SPOTLIGHT – “What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?” (1962)

On the second and fourth Friday of every month in 2020, Limelight Magazine will spotlight the filming location site(s) we visited for some of our favorite (and not so favorite) films. Today we spotlight the filming location for What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? which was released in 1962. The film, which starred Bette Davis and Joan Crawford, was directed by Robert Aldrich, who was born in Cranston, R.I. The top photo is a screen shot taken from the movie while the photo underneath is what the location looks like today.

This filming location of the home of Jane & Blanche Hudson is located at 172 South McCadden Place, Los Angeles, CA, 90004.
