FILMING LOCATION SPOTLIGHT – “NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD” (1968)

On the second and fourth Friday of every month in 2020, Limelight Magazine spotlights the filming location site(s) we visited for some of our favorite (and not so favorite) films. Today we spotlight some of the filming locations for Night of the Dead. The film, which was directed by the late George A. Romero, was released in 1968. The top photo is a screen shot taken from the movie while the photo underneath is what the location looks like when we visited in June 2018.

The filming locations for those featured below were taken at Evans City Cemetery, located at 8600 Franklin Road in Evans City, Pennsylvania.
