ADRIAN VANDENBERG
Adrian Vandenberg is one of rock’s finest yet most underrated guitarists, known for his melodic fire, songwriting chops, and four decades of influence. His band Vandenberg first hit the UK in 1982 on the Michael Schenker Group tour, turning heads with a debut album recorded at Jimmy Page’s Sol Studios and packed with hard‑rock standouts like “Ready for You,” “Your Love Is in Vain,” and “Wait.” In 1983, “Burning Heart” became a major U.S. hit, leading to tours with KISS and Ozzy Osbourne and two more albums, Heading for a Storm and Alibi.
Everything changed when Vandenberg played the iconic solo on Whitesnake’s 1987 smash “Here I Go Again.” He joined the band full‑time in 1986, co‑writing Slip of the Tongue and Restless Heart and helping drive Whitesnake through a 12‑year run of global success, sold‑out arenas, and millions of albums sold.
After Whitesnake, he formed Manic Eden, then launched Vandenberg’s MoonKings, releasing three acclaimed blues‑rock albums. In 2020 he revived Vandenberg with a new lineup and producer Bob Marlette, delivering a powerful, roots‑driven comeback album praised worldwide.
Today the band features vocalist Mats Levén, bassist Sem Christoffel, drummer Joey DeBoer, and keyboardist Len van de Laak—an explosive lineup known for high‑energy shows that span Adrian’s entire catalog. Under the My Whitesnake Years banner, they celebrate the legacy of the Donington era with performances that critics call a masterclass in classic hard‑rock spirit and precision.
MARCO MENDOZA
Marco Mendoza is one of the most versatile bassists in rock, having toured and recorded with giants like Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy, Ted Nugent, Neal Schon, The Dead Daisies, and many more. A dynamic performer equally at home in hard rock, jazz, fusion, and Latin styles, he’s also an accomplished vocalist with acclaimed solo albums including Viva La Rock, Live for Tomorrow, Casa Mendoza, and New Direction. Beyond his résumé, Marco is known as a generous ambassador for music—meeting fans, giving clinics, and bringing passion to every stage he steps on.
VINNIE MOORE
Vinnie Moore picked up a guitar at 12 and quickly became a “guitar freak,” moving from early influences like Jeff Beck and Led Zeppelin to writing his own music and gaining national attention through Guitar Player magazine. His breakout solo albums led to major tours, work with Alice Cooper, and eventually a long, celebrated run as lead guitarist and songwriter for UFO. Alongside global touring, he continues recording, teaching, and shaping his signature blend of rock, neo‑classical, and fusion styles.
The Vault is located at 791 Purchase Street in New Bedford, MA. This concert is presented by JKB Entertainment Group/Limelight Magazine.
